The location proved very convenient and the building had a certain authentic charm. It stands close to Metro République and a short walk leads to Gare de l'est. A balcony offers a pleasant view of a typical street. There are also many restaurants in the area and it is very safe to walk around.
Upon arrival, I received a room key, but the policy requires handing keys to reception when leaving. This system made me uneasy, as it seemed anyone could potentially access my room without thorough verification (a security concern).

The room was quite small. Space felt very limited. I found the interior design to be outdated. It needs refreshing. The wallpaper seemed old. The room color scheme also felt a little off.

I found the air conditioning and heating system effective. Fresh towels was daily. The bed offered great comfort. The front desk remained staffed 24/7, ensuring assistance whenever needed.
